Yay for DIY Day!

Today I feel so giddy. I’ve been planning this day since… well, just last night at 2am when I wasn’t feeling sleepy yet. Unfortunately the 9am wake-up time and Divi-trip-be-back-home-by-lunch-time didn’t go as planned. I woke up at 1pm and was able to leave the house at 3pm. Good thing, I already know where to go and what to buy. Planning ahead really helps.

Here’s what I bought:

1. perspex and plastic cutter
2. black chiffon, tulle, and leatherette cloths

And the things I made:

1. red perspex cuff

2. DIY leatherette skirt

My first ever self-sewn skirt. 

I paired this with the top I won from Fashion Bandwagon x Pinkaholic and added a thin yellow belt. Now it looks like a leather skirt with color-blocking peplum! <3
